Under direct supervision of the Director of Human Resources, responsible for managing the employment process for permanent and temporary employees, coordinate new hire orientation, maintain Employee Performance Management System Records, responsible for related training for managers, hiring officials and employees, and assist the department in all human resources functions.
Minimum and Additional Requirements:
A bachelor's degree; or an associate degree and two (2) years experience or a high school diploma and four (4) years experience. Prefer experience in human resources management and recruiting and employment activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Incumbent must have proven office & administrative skills; strong communication & public relations skills; effective organizational skills with ability to prioritize & meet multiple goals; ability to work effectively with all parts of the organization; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook; basic understanding of applicant tracking system, performance management system; and be skilled in making presentations to groups of employees & conducting training sessions. Knowledge of HR principles/practices & policies/procedures of assigned area & agency policies/procedures; ability to analyze data & present effectively.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
