Under limited supervision, perform specialized case management in the areas of child welfare services including but not limited to area of foster care, treatment services for children and families, protective preventive services. Supervises Human Services Specialist in the provisions of agency assistance programs. Bi-monthly conferences with Social Services supervisor and annual performance evaluation.
Supervises Human Services Specialist who manages foster children and provides treatment services for CPS clients. Serves as consultant as needed and reviews records per policy.
Supervise Human Services Coordinator I who supervises Adult Protective Services, homemaker, and CPS Investigations units. Reviews and staffs cases per policy.
Participates in case staffing, assigns caseloads, and participates in the strategies that will be used to reach the goals/targets for the service units.
Examine all incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensure that all work of subordinates is thorough and accurate and that CAPSS information is entered timely and accurately.
Advises subordinates on policies and procedures relative to provision of services and of the agency.
Attends Department of Social Services (DSS) relative trainings.
To ensure that Personal Identifying Information (PII) is properly used, accessed, gathered, shared and disposed. To protect the agency network and applications by safeguarding systems, equipment and data.
Perform other duties as required.
_NOTE:_ Must possess a valid Driver's License.
_NOTE:_ You may be required to drive your personal vehicle from time to time in the performance of duties associated with this position.
_NOTE:_ May require over-time hours. Must be able to travel and work after hours with little or no notice.
_NOTE:_ Must be able to lift thirty (30) pounds. Able to access 4/5 file cabinet and/or various filing system; ability to inter information into computer.
_NOTE:_ Must have the ability to access client's homes and other buildings; have a high tolerance for noise or irate clients, crowded working conditions.

Minimum and Additional Requirements:
_STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA MINIMUM, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:_
A Bachelor's Degree and professional experience in human services or social services programs.

_ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:_
A Master's Degree in Social Work, Social Welfare or Behavioral Science.
A Master's Degree in any other field and one (1) year of professional experience in human services or social service programs.
A Bachelor's degree in social work, social welfare or behavioral science and one (1) year of professional experience in human services or social service programs.
A Bachelor's degree in any other field and two (2) years of professional experience in human services or social service programs. Selected positions may prefer supervisory experience.

Employee should have thorough knowledge of agency policy and procedures, principals of social work, and federal and state laws. Employee should have knowledge of planning and program development. Employee should have previous experience and the ability to supervise others in routine and complex tasks in service delivery. Ability to communicate effectively.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
