This is a Grant funded position responsible for coordinating all of the volunteers and assisting with clerical duties for the Equestrian Center. Generating and maintaining all paperwork files, email distribution lists, name tags, and sign-in book. Assist with volunteer training sessions. Recruit and coordinate volunteers for special events in consultation with program coordinator. Return phone calls regarding inquiries of volunteer opportunities.
Minimum and Additional Requirements:
A high school diploma. Experience in clerical work preferred. Must possess a valid driver's license.

Qualifications:
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and work well with students, Equestrian Center Staff and the public. Ability to perform detailed and accurate work. Above average typing skills, working knowledge of Microsoft software. The ability to accomplish duties with limited supervision. Be committed in assisting students and parents in a professional manner. Must be able to work with constant interruptions and maintain multiple concurrent tasks. Exercises confidentiality.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
