Certification by the Law Enforcement Training Council in accordance with 23-23-40 of the Code of Laws of South Carolina 1976Must meet SC Law Enforcement Division (SLED) requirements for a Group I State ConstableA valid driver's license and safe driving historyMust have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
